OUR FAVORITE EATERIES IN CENTRAL PA

You know those places you go to that are kinda like a warm sweater? Cozy, warm, familiar…feel good? It leaves you feeling mmmmm, content. Happy. It may have been one of ‘those’ days…but now, you are feeling like life is pretty good after all and things are looking sunshiny again.

A good place to dine??? Food for the soul and not just the belly.

Our favorite eateries and cafes…..

ANDREA

My favorite Cafe is the Hershey Pantry. Their breakfast there is divine and the servings they give you are so very generous! I love the quaint atmosphere of this little cafe. I love their baked oatmeal, salads, and DESSERTS! Their cream pies will change your life forever! Be sure you get there early, this place packs up FAST!

KAREN

The cafe I return to again and again is Tomato Pie Cafe in Lititz. The selection on the menu is varied, and I never ate something there I didn’t like. My recommendations would be the hummus veggie wrap, the tomato pie, or any of the salads. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Often Kyle and I pick TPC for a quick date night, and when Elsa gets a little older, I will love taking her there for a mama/daughter breakfast outing.

KATHLEEN

One of my favorite cafe’s in Harrisburg is St. Thomas Roasters. They roast their own coffee beans right next to the counter where you order a latte which makes the cafe smell wonderful at all times. It’s full of local flair, has a cozy atmosphere and is a great place to meet a friend or spend the evening studying.

GRACE

One of my favorite places to eat is Ma(i)son. The food is amazing. The service is always delightful. The space is really visually appealing. The atmosphere is just right.  I love everything about it. You walk away feeling satisfied and like you just left a really good friends house.

CHAR

Trattoria Fratelli is a feel good place for me. It is a little gem of a place on a not so nice street in a not so nice city. :) But it is authentic. Italian. Has a huge brick oven where they make crispy crust pizzas topped with fresh mozzarella and basil. It is kinda fine dining…in a really relaxed and easy sort of way. The atmosphere always feels a little festive. Like life is worth celebrating. And the food is delicious.

Where do you love to dine or sip a cup of coffee? Do tell…we LOVE trying new places.
