Gotta admit…I have been a bit swamped lately. I look at the day in front of me…and focus on that. October is full, full. I have been photographing lots of seniors these past few months (love them!) and they all will get up here in the blog sooner…or later. (:
Today I am going to introduce Gretchen. For real…beautiful in and out. Cheesy? Maybe. None the less…true. We did her entire session in a natural setting. And it worked. Her adorable outfits and sweet personality contrasted and complimented the grass and trees in a way that made me so happy.(: I photographed Gretchen’s older sister, Hannah, at the exact same location last year. Loved both of these girls.
After graduation, Gretchen plans on attending the University of Missouri. Her major is still up on the air. I love asking the my seniors what they plan to do after high-school. Many have an idea or a goal in mind. It is a BIG desicion for a 18 year old to decide (an the parents to)…where to go to college and what to major in. If I look back to when I was 18…wow, I was a totally different person than I am today. When I asked Gretchen about her plans…she said she was undecided and felt no pressure to decide at this point. Wisdom in that, I think, And that is Gretchen…knows how she feels and comfortable to stick with that. Ok, so what does she ALWAYS have? Softlips chap-stick. She would DIE without it! If she had extra cash to blow? SHOPPING at Forever 21, Urban Outfitters, and Nordstom. Can I come with?(; One of her favorite things in her closet right now is this blue and white dress you are seeing right here!
Someday…Gretchen hopes to make a difference. Someday, she will.
I kinda-a-little-bit loved this dress. If I remember right, Gretchen got it at Urban Outfitters. I adore the combination of the two different shades of blue. It adds that details that just makes the outfit.
Soft and pretty. Rocking the grass…
Fantastic shoes.
Love this last photo…(:
