Amy and Nate…what a gorgeous couple. These guys came all the way from Washington DC to a overgrown meadow just down a little country road from my house. And well….there were cows! And you know what comes along with meadow filled with cows? Yeah, let’s just say we had to watch our steps very CLOSELY. I scouted out the meadow ahead of time…and just loved the softness of the grass and trees. When Amy said they would like a location away from the hustle and bustle of DC….this seemed like the perfect spot. But what I did NOT plan for was….those darn cows thought we were there to entertain them for the evening! They followed us around the meadow and literally were almost on top of us. All 30 of them!!! Yikes. Thank goodness I had Andrew with and he spent the evening chasing and yelling at the cows to keep them at a manageable distance.

But it was worth it!! Amy and Nate rolled with it and I just love these soft sun-kissed images of this lovely couple. Amy is such a sweetheart and I cannot wait to photographer her in a wedding dress. See her hair?? Nate was kind and ever so patient and we walked around the meadow and avoided those cows.
