The idea that everyone can work together and produce something better than they could on their own…thereby synthesizing their respective talents for the creation of something greater than the simple of their parts.

Yesterday I met with Caroline and Svetlana to chat about our upcoming True To You Workshop at none other than our favorite of course, Tomato Pie Cafe. We had coffee and cupcakes. Yes we did. :-) At 2pm? It was a perfect afternoon siesta. So we talked and laughed and believed together. We talked about honoring clients and what that looks like. We talked about respecting others in the industry ….instead of fearing the competition. We touched on inspiration and how taking time for ourselves goes hand in  hand with inspiration. And generosity…how we can give of ourselves to others. We talked about invisible marketing and taking care of our clients. The importance of understanding the deeper message in our work. And the experience…we all know that term…but are we truly carrying the “experience” through to the very end. AND, is it heartfelt? We touched on fear, trust, and moving forward…taking steps in the direction we want to go. And how hard that can be…but at the same time so simple. And the value of being humble. We talked about our stories and what we have learned along the way. And yes, the truth is the principle…we reap what we sow.

Collaboration. It is a beautiful thing. I walked away from out time together inspired and challenged. So thankful for creative friendships.
