Life is made up of the day to day, right? Becasue I am so goal focused; it is easy for me to live for the next project, the next goal, the plans being laid in place. I have to stop and remind myself, that all exciting projects and big goals consist of day-to-day small tasks. These tasks may be tedious and mundane and that is okay. Such is the rhythm of life and it is good. Instead of resisting the ‘everydayness’ of everyday, I remind myself that the normal days is what makes up the majority of life. These normal days must be fulfilling and contain peace and joy. And good food. :) That next exciting project, goal, or change will be great….but it will consist of a whole lot of normal days leading up to it and after it.

Here’s to the normal kind of day…it is real life and it is okay if it feels mundane at times. It is still good and magic lives in it creases.
