Sunshine and Oranges
Getting away this week….
Florida sunshine is feeling so, ummm…sweet this week. Golden. Getting away is good. Somehow it always gives me perspective again on the day to day. Gotta admit, if it was up to me…quite possibly I would never take the time to make it happen. I know, not good. But Andrew loves road trips…so he plans and anticipates and we all pile in the car and go. One of the things I love the most about Florida is all the fresh produce. Strawberries, oranges, and grapefruits. And spending lots of time on the beach. =)

One more day before we hit the highway and head north. Planning to make the most of the beach, warm temps, and the ice cream stand down the road today. =)

Beautiful pictures! At Siesta Beach – right? Love that place … I usually get to see it at least a few days each winter, but not this year :( Enjoy our last day there!!
We loooooovvvvee the Florida beaches!!! Siesta Beach is our ‘home beach’ for Florida. We’ve been taking 2 week vacations to Sarasota almost every winter since Mike and I were married and lots even before. We had arrangements to go again this winter, but canceled out. Having a baby in April and doing all that traveling, we decided to spend our winter days in the north. Enjoy yourself and have a safe trip back north!
