A beautiful sunny day. Happy tears and jolly laughter. Meadow tea and a big, rustic barn. Appetizers under tall trees and hanging Japanese lanterns. A gorgeous bride and groom. Guests that danced and celebrated into the night. Yup,It was a beautiful day from the start to the end.

Heather was so comfortable in front of the camera and I loved her for it. Beautiful, Heather.

Ryan adored Heather. The tears streaming down his face when she entered the ceremony, the way he looked at her, and his huge smile made it easy to see he knew he was marrying the most beautiful girl ever.

This next photo is Jeremy’s and I love it.

To say the reception was fantastic would be hardly giving the evening justice. Heather’s parent’s own Country Home Catering out of Lititz, PA. And yes, they took on catering the meal for their daughter’s wedding! The food was divine, the presentation was gorgeous, and their attention to detail pulled everything together beautifully.

Talent right here! Heather and her family along with the help of their florist did all the decorating.

Now, you know you have WONDERFUL clients when they surprise you with an antique couch and chandelier that we just might want for photos. They had it ready to go on a truck with drivers prepared to hang the chandelier and set out the couch. All I had to do was select the location. I did not find out about this until the morning of the wedding. Was I excited? YES!!!

First dance…

And this is what I loved the most about Ryan, Heather, and their families….they seemed to be overflowing with joy, a love for life, and enthusiasm to work hard and play hard. Proud daddy…

Night fell. The lights twinkled. And the celebration continued with much gusto. With all the wedding receptions I have been to, I have had the opportunity to meet quite a few DJ’s. But let me tell you, Heather’s DJ was the best I have ever encountered. The way Chris from It’s Showtime led the crowd, set the mood, and created special moments was remarkable. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Near the end of the reception, all the guests held sparklers and formed a large circle around Heather and Ryan. Heather and Ryan slow danced in the middle to a love song. It felt kinda perfect. And oh, so romantic.

And the perfect ending to a perfect evening? Heather and Ryan’s family surprised them with fireworks!
