Details! Oh man, I LOVE details. This workshop had lots of them. Last week I attended a Walk Through a Wedding workshop hosted by Justin and Mary Marantz. It was so good. I was on the fence about attending and must have asked Andrew 1000 times what I should do. He said ‘I will be home with the boys…go for it.’ So last minute I jumped in my car and drove myself to NYC. It was a long day….but I am so happy I went. I learned so much. The workshop was exactly what it is called….we walked through a wedding day with seasoned wedding pros, Justin and Mary. We started at the motel for the ‘getting ready’. Next we went to a beautiful old church in the city for the ‘ceremony’. And last we ended at the Metropolitan building for the ‘reception’. We covered everything….everything that a photographer runs into on a wedding day from posing, limited time, large bridal parties, dark churches, how to photograph details….to mention a few. The theme for the wedding was “Newsies & Knickerbockers” and they did a fantastic job pulling all gorgeous details together.
Makes me want to plan a wedding…or at least the details and decor all over again!
