CHELSEA + MARK :: ROWBOAT ENGAGEMENT

“I found myself being curious growing up. Always wondering who I would marry and where we would meet. And how we would fall in love. I never would have imagined that it would feel this good. And so right. With Chelsea…. it is just perfect.”

Aaaaah, I love these guys.

“Day in and day out she impresses me. Without a doubt she is the hardest working person I know. She is always looking for ways to please or help others. Chelsea is constantly setting goals for herself and us. She will achieve one and set another. She is my role model. I always catch myself saying “how does she do it??”:)

“I love how when I have a bad day I can look into her blue eyes and just know that everything will be okay.

I love her laugh and the smile that comes with it.

I love how she knows my feelings before I say them.

I love her ‘never quit’ attitude

Most of all I love her heart. She has the biggest heart in the world. She will drop everything and help a total stranger. She loves big. Small. Black. White. Happy. Sad.

And I love her so incredibly much.

You got yourself a good man, Chelsea!

“Mark is the most loving and caring person I’ve ever met. He’s always willing to help someone out, no matter what the task is. He is motivated and hard working. He is sweet and kind and will do anything to see me smile. I feel safe when I’m with him. I love when he hugs me and kisses forehead and tells me everything will be okay…cause I know he’s telling me the truth.  I love him so much and I’m so excited to start life together.

Truly…he completes me.”

– Chelsea

Chelsea and Mark…THANK-YOU. You two are beautiful together. Thank-you for allowing me to work with you. For being so fun and creative. I can’t wait to be part of your day…I know it will be gorgeous.

See their slide show HERE.

Chelsea and Mark were so invested in their engagement session and truly put so much thought into making it their own. They selected the locations and everything we included in this session. I loved this! We started in Lititz to get in some fun downtown vibe. From there we headed to a natural setting. Mark brought along his boat (keep reading to hear why) and guitar. Yes! These few simple props made their photos so unique to them. I loved the results.

Chelsea…YOU, my dear are so pretty. And those eyes? Gorgeous. Chelsea is Chanelle’s sister. Both are getting married next year a few months apart! I love these girls and am so honored to be able to photograph both of their weddings.

Now for the natural setting…

Favorite!

Grandma’s quilt and Mark’s guitar = Yes!!

Mark proposed to Chelsea on his boat! When Chelsea mentioned including the boat in their engagement session…I knew I was going to love them.(:Little story…Chelsea thought they were ‘just’ going for a boat ride. However, Mark had other plans. When they were out on the water, he told Chelsea he wanted to take a picture of them. He set his camera up on a tripod on the boat and then actually put it on record. When he went to sit next to Chelsea for the “picture” he got down on one knee and PROPOSED…and it all was recorded on his camera. Well done, Mark!

This last photo is one of my all time favorite engagement photo…I just love the softness. And the boat. (:
