These two go together beautifully. Like moonlight on a tranquil lake. Fudge topping on an ice cream sundae. Laughter that accompanies a free and alive spirit. Haha…you get the picture. Just beautiful together. These two. Light and life and happiness spring from their very souls. I walked away from this session feeling like I was given a gift. Of seeing love at it’s purest. It’s a beautiful thing.  It was a pleasure to see through my lens. I first knew Katilyn as my little sister’s friend. We also attend church with Katilyn and Phil. It is so fun to work with people I have a personal connection with!

Katilyn and Phil. You rock. Really. Love you and all you stand for. I am certain this is only the beginning of a life well lived for you two. THANK-YOU for allowing me to be part of your lives.

I asked Katilyn a few questions about the two of them. I love to do this as it allows me to better understand who I am working with. Katilyn and Phil decided to each answer on their own and wait see the others answers here. As Katelyn said…just for fun. Love this. “just for fun” only makes life that much sweeter.

“I love hearing her laugh and seeing her beautiful smile. I love her pure heart and the confidence that she walks in. The joy she carries where ever she goes. There is so much I love about her.(:”

“Katilyn has a strong personality and is opinionated. I love this so much about her. She is confident, outgoing, and has a very warm personality. She adds so much joy to my life. I still get excited when I see her name flash up on my phone screen when she is calling.(:”

“We love being outdoors. Good food. And sitting down with a good cup coffee. I’m not sure what our future will look like. Both of us are remaining open to whatever the Lord has for us. I do know one thing though, I want to raise a beautiful family with her. I cannot imagine life without her. I love her so much.”

“I love that he has an amazing heart for people and he loves God. He pushes me to pursue my dreams and is motivated to accomplish goals that he sets for himself or for us both. He brings out the best in me. And he loves to make me laugh.(;”

“Phil is strong in the Lord, confidently leads our relationship, compassionate, determined, very creative, funny & thoughtful. We love traveling, children, our families, business, and missions. I know that throughout the future we will encounter these things. Everyday is so much more an adventure because he is there to share it with.”

“Hiking and kayaking. Grocery shopping. Cooking. Eating. Laying out on a blanket looking at the stars and talking about the future. Just sitting down next to each other reading a book or watching a funny movie.  Every moment just gets better as we fall more in love and learn more about each other. Being with Phil has been one of the most wonderful parts of my life. I love him so.(:”

Nice ‘model’ face, Phil! This just makes me wanna laugh out loud when I see this…it took about ten tries to get this (Ok, maybe not ten…but close). Every time we would start the serious look, Phil would BUST out laughing. (: Then he pulled it off perfectly.

Katilyn and Phil love all things outdoors. And coffee and cards. Oh, and Phil LOVES whoopie pies. (: Love how this next set reflects this.
