A few weeks ago I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and photograph Stacey and Dustin. There is nothing I love more than a photo session in the sunshine and grass with two people that are relaxed, easy going, and just want to have a good time! Stacey and Dustin love anything outdoors…including fishing. When Stacey suggested styling the shoot around this…I loved it! I searched and searched for a pond that was overgrown and not too manicured. Who knew that would be so hard to find?? Turns out, I found a pond that was literally (almost) a stone’s throw away from my house. Haha:) It was way back a long field lane. I knew the pond was there…but never actually saw it since it is hidden from view. When I asked permission and scoped it out…I knew it would be perfect for Stacey and Dustin. For the record…this location was the closest I have ever worked to my house!

So….let me tell you a little about Stacey and Dustin. They were friends. Best friends for two years. Never thought about dating each other. But THEN…as we all know….things don’t always go as expected….something changed and all of a sudden they were smitten!

Stacey loves his blue eyes and dimples. :) That he always puts everyone before himself and constantly seeks to serve others. His adventurous spirit and his crazy, risky stunts. That he is smart! :) And can always solve any problem quickly and efficiently. She loves how he’s everything she’s not….and fits her just perfectly.

Dustin has only glowing words to say about Stacey. How she always has such an energetic, loving, attitude through everything. Will never give up on what she’s passionate about and holds herself to a very high standard of excellence. Never takes things for granted and is always the first to say thank you. She brings out the best of everyone! And truly is an amazing person and makes him one happy man!

I cannot wait for their big day this fall! If you like what they planned for their engagement session….wait until you see the details from their wedding! From my perspective…it will be one fun wedding to photograph. :)
