I have been thinking a lot about the word CULTURE. Culture is there. Always present. In a home. A city. a business. Sometimes it is good. And…sometimes not so good. A person picks up an organization’s culture almost immediately. Clients feel it. Coworkers walk in it. It is easy to SAY…this is who we are and what we do. However…CULTURE…tells us if the great sounding words are based on truth. It is who we are. FOR REAL.

Culture is an overflow of who we are. It comes through in all we do. It is a reflection of core values. Our culture is a key part of our FOUNDATION. Our culture will happen even if we don’t think about it.

Growth. Color outside the lines a little. Expanding and developing. SEEING those around us….with more than our eyes. Collaborating. Moving, living, and breathing. Vibrant and colorful. Energetic. Peace. Calm. Humble. Creative, yes. Authentic and real. Honesty. Never a front or idealistic. Generous. Open. Moving forward. Invested. Balanced. Not complacent. Not fearful. Dreaming….then coming back around with a plan and step by step. Shoot for the clouds. BUT….with our feet planted firmly on the ground.

Most of all….

TRUE TO OURSELVES.
