Several years ago I read a  Seth Godin email and like so often, his wise words clicked in my brain and heart. I saved it to my desktop and to this day, I refer to it, read it, and determine to live it out.

Someone who is likable, honest, curious and thoughtful is easy to think of as gifted. This is natural charisma and is a beautiful thing to experience. The part I love the most?! These are attitudes, and attitudes can be learned.  That means I can be this! I personally can own these things. What a privilege.  Truly, what a privilege. Like so many things in life, it comes down to our own selves making a choice, doing the intentional work of changing, and then living it out.

I love that I personally can CHOOSE to be these words. I hope to someday, be these words! Step at a time, folks. ;)
