Travel.

Oh the beauty of it. It is intoxicating. Once you taste it? You start craving it. The funny thing….the best part of it is coming home again. I see travel as in investment into memories, experiences, and who I am. I love traveling.

Why I travel. I travel for many reasons but one of the biggest reasons I love traveling is for the inspiration that follows. Inspiration always finds me when I get away and see a new place. I have found that the more I can get outside of what I know the bigger my perspective is and the bigger my influence can be. We talk about inspiration a lot in the industry of creativity. If you don’t have inspiration than the creativity doesn’t flow! To be creative you must be inspired. Learning what releases this inspiration is really key for a new depth of that creativity. For me, one thing that truly awakens my inspiration lobe is traveling. Traveling opens the gates of the creativity inside of me. It gives me that inspiration BUZZ. There is something about seeing how others live. Seeing new sights. Eating good food. Embracing the unique beauty of a place you have never seen. Finding yourself in new things and finding that it makes your heart happy. People watching. Friend making. Exploring new styles and fashions. Experiencing a place and culture that is lovely. Inspiration is crucial in my life so that means so is TRAVELING!

This past week I was able to go on a little business trip with my husband to the beautiful state of Washington. We first went to Seattle and then traveled north to Bellingham. If you haven’t visited Seattle, you should! It might be one of my favorite cities. It is a beautiful city that will awaken a lot of inspiration.
