Hello everyone ☺

First, I feel like I need to clarify that this post was originally intended to feature a nice little summer picnic showcasing Grace’s Turkish towels, local produce, and few summer time recipes. But due to some unfortunate timing, our picnic took a turn for the worst. We were able to grab a few shots, but not the ones for which we originally hoped!

It was a little disappointing putting so much effort into something that went terribly wrong, but while driving back to the studio I realized that the last few hours were just a small representation of what our lives are like at times.

We might plan and prepare to perfection, but in a moment everything can change leaving us with a simple choice: pack up everything and drive away disappointed, or grab your camera and play in the rain.

With that being said, I hope you enjoy a few of the moments we captured during our little rainy day picnic. ☺

(Side note: Sometimes total picnic destruction can be avoided if you check the weather. Another life lesson we learned the hard way.)
