On my mind this week…

Creating is empowering and fulfilling. We are created to create. The flowers planted by the front walk, the book you wrote, dinner for the family, a peaceful home, what we are wearing today, a birthday cake, a handmade card, our business, our day, our life….we create it. Creating is the opposite of being passive. It is getting in and doing.

Coco Chanel said “My life didn’t please me, so I created my life”.

Creating is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.

Right now I am creating my content for the Thrive workshop hosted by Sweet Root Village in two weeks, my 2016 master plan (yeah, that’s a big one), and an organized closet for my baby girl . Whew. What are you creating?

These pretty little plants are for tomorrow’s annual Photography 101 workshop and oh I am excited! I absolutely love this special workshop. It is a highlight of my year. We cannot wait to meet everybody that is coming out!
