DEAR SCHEDULE BOOK,

“Soooo, pretty lady. It is you and me this year. You know I depend on you a lot, right? I mean…as in I feel lost without you. Everything. Everything from family vacations, session details, locations, client names, menu plans, meetings, dentist appointments, random thoughts, quotes, phone numbers, prays, inspiration, to do lists. And more to do lists. Even my ‘honey, to do lists’. I count on you to keep this straight. You ride with me in the car, sleep in my desk, rest on the kitchen table as I cook the kids breakfast. You often are the first person I greet in the mornings and I frequently check in with you before I go to sleep at night. If my brain feels like it is going crazy, I grab you, get focused, and then I remember where I was going and what I was doing. When I feel like I am going no where fast, I look back and see all my crossed off to do lists….aaaah, yes. You are a journal. You will hold the story of my 2012. In fact, I will get quite attached to you by year’s end. As you can see, I still am hanging onto 2011 Schedule Book….she has been riding around with you all of January. Soon, I will part ways with her and depend solely on you.

You and me….we are gonna make this a good year, right? Whatever, you do…don’t leave me hanging. I am counting on you. Really, I am. Like….a lot.”

Do I sound like a crazy lady???

  9. Lori Lapp says:

Yeppppper, me too! I highly rely on my schedule book to! It holds my appointments, parites, and future activities. It reminds me of birthdays! I would feel soooo lost without it on my desk, or in my purse, or on my kitchen counter. Crazy??? Just a bit, but it keeps me accountable to my promises and schedule. I have a friend from Davis County, IN, and she now lives in Lancaster Co., PA. She said after living here for some time, she finally had to break down and buy herself a calendar. She never needed one in IN!!! Can’t imagine that life?!!!!

Have a great day! Love it when you share your thoughts!
