This past week myself along with our intern team met over lunch. We had chatted about fear and meshing that with taking risks. We talked about creating a personal brand and what is it exactly that makes an artist’s work breathtaking. We talked about the delicate balance of going after goals and holding it all loosely. And being okay with falling, because we will. I was reminded again of the importance of talking, sharing ideas, and swapping things learned. To often we want to have things figured out before we share…or we are afraid to ask because we feel small. But there is something magical in conversation that sets the world right side up again. We were created to do life side by side. I am convinced that is where we as humans thrive.

This weekend….find somebody and ask questions. Talk. Meet somebody for coffee. Just to talk. It’s good and a very worthwhile way to spend your time. Promise.:)
