Last night I had dinner with a friend and over carrot ginger soup and red beet with goat cheese salad, we talked about taking those steps. Those steps that go into following our dream and how when others do this, it is an invitation to us to do the same. When we are brave, follow our heart, and lean into whatever it is even when we are scared; it changes lives around us. It made me think how we has woman wrestle with giving ourselves permission to follow our dreams. We are afraid we are being selfish and taking from those we love the most. But maybe, following our dreams is really the most generous act we can do. Possibly it is one of the best ways we can serve, love, and impact those we care the most about. The impact may not be tangible and easily tracked…but I am convinced courage in of itself will change lives.
