MASTERS OF THEIR CRAFT WORKSHOP

The Art of Reclaimed Woodworking

– an intro to the reclaimed wood process, woodworking techniques, and hands on assembly of your own reclaimed wooden organizer –

We at Char Co. are exited to present to you our first Masters of Their Craft Workshop: The Art of Reclaimed Woodworking. This workshop is open to people of any skill level, though it will focus on techniques for the amateur. You will learn about antique wood and the process that goes into reclaiming and preparing it for re-use, ways to work with reclaimed wood, and the names and descriptions of some simple woodworking techniques. After a time of learning, you will create your personal organizer made with reclaimed wood. We are teaming up with Anthony Becker, a skilled woodworker who has been making art from wood since he was a small child, and Jeremy Fisher, a craftsman who has created anything from dining tables to clothing racks to various other projects at his family’s Tomato Pie Cafes.  Anthony and Jeremy will offer you personal help as you create your organizers, and you will love their friendly, laid-back natures. Come learn some cool stuff about the art of woodworking, make a unique project of quality reclaimed wood supplied by Keystone Vintage Lumber, and enjoy a night of creating and socializing.

Top notch quality and something that will last for years! This beautiful box can be used in a multitude of ways. For one fun option, check out the post using it as a makeup organizer. It also works as a general organizer or as a way to display your plants.
