Summer time!
One of things I love about Grace is her intentionality with things. Even her swimsuit…thinking of it as essential piece of the summer wardrobe, I love that. It is true…swimming with the kids, visiting the beach, or napping in the sun on a Sunday afternoon….we wear our suits. Today Grace is sharing her thought process behind her swimsuit….

I love summer time. It is one of my favorite seasons. It is the one season that I long for and I can hardly wait for it to come and stay. Things like fresh flowers, backyard grilling, frogs singing, fireflies dancing in the sky, pool parties, and the fact that your days are light for it seems like forever. These are the things that make me so happy for summer to be here.

I can remember getting a new swimsuit almost every year. I loved that part of the season just as much as everything else, and I still do :). For me, a swimsuit is an essential piece for my summer wardrobe. If it is laying outside to read or gardening in my backyard, you can find me in my suit. I find that a swimsuit is apart of my summer closet just as much as anything else. I love being in the sun, so loving my suit is essential.

Here are a couple of things that I always look for as I am looking to buy a new bathing suit.
-good quality
-something that represents me and my style aesthetic
-if it is a two piece, pieces that I can mix and match easily
-something comfortable

This year I went with a simple black bikini. You can’t go wrong with black! This one is kinda retro with a high waistline and fun cut-outs.
