Don’t forget…tomorrow is our Fall Closet Sale! Pieces from the CHAR co Collection, such as you see Jesse modeling for us, are going to be there!

And one more thing….just because it has been on my mind…

Perfectionism. Is it a bad thing? It gets a bad rap. But I like things to be done really well….and right…and good. So when is it okay…and when is it a bad case of perfectionism? I recently read this on Daring Greatly by Brene’ Brown…

“Healthy striving is self-focused. How can I improve? Perfectionism is other-focused. What will they think?”

This made perfect sense to me. I can easily identify which it is when I am feeling the need to make things ‘just so’. I like that this gives me permission to do things well….and calls me out when I am just trying to impress. One is fulfilling and feels good…the other saps all my confidence and creativity. Here is to putting my all into projects but not doing it in the futile hopes that others will be impressed. :-) By the way, if you want an amazing book that goes to the heart of who we are as woman….Daring Greatly is incredible.

Xoxo…
